Nine Day Traditional Comprehensive Review Courses (Satisfies States Remedial/Retake Requirements)

Our traditional nine day NPTE/NPTAE review is the ONLY evidence based comprehensive review with 15 years of experience working with both US and Internationally educated PT's and PTA's.   Our traditional course, developed by US educated physical therapists with post entry level degrees, acknowledges that everyone has different weaknesses and is continuously updated to make sure you have reviewed everything on the NPTE from the current content outline, evidenced based perspective.   This teaches you to think critically, we do not merely take you through practice questions.

The goal of this course is that the next time you take the Boards, you will be able to answer any question given by the examiners with solid test taking strategies and tactics to help you focus in the NPTE's best answer format.

Of our students who took our traditional review course and reported their scores to us, we had a 100% first time US educated (DPT/MPT) pass rate for 2008 through June 2009 graduates.  If you come and do the work, you will pass.  Other review courses and flashcard companies claim up to 95% pass rates, close, but why take the chance.

2011 Exam Dates: All candidates for the NPTE will only be able to take the NPTE on the following dates:

December 7 2011

For 2012 the exam dates are:

Janury 30, 2012

March 29, 2012

July 22, 2012

July 31, 2012

October 23, 2012

This changes the game considerably.

Re-entry PT's and PTA's:  Perhaps you let your license lapse or were licensed prior to 1997 and need to retake your Boards.  The scope of physical therapy practice and the NPTE has changed considerably since you took the exam originally.   Our comprehensive review will help you bring your knowledge to current standards and let you identify areas that need additional work.

PTA's

First time, PTA pass rates are approximately 80%, that means 1 out of 5 PTA's fail the NPTAE the first time.  Attending a comprehensive review will help you identify areas of concern as well as learn new test taking skills that will help you focus better on your exam.  In 2008-2009 all US educated PTA's that reported scores to us, passed on their first attempt after taking our comprehensive course.

General Information on Therapy Team Exam Review

Our live seminar courses have been in existence since 1996 are intended to help you apply your knowledge to the patient oriented scenarios on the exam.   We do this through interactive lectures, projects and daily practice exams.   This helps you learn how to apply the knowledge you have to the real world fact situations you will see of the exam.

  Internet pre-course

The Internet presented pre-course is sold in only conjunction with a seminar.  It is designed for students that have been educated outside of the United States or any student that has been out of school for more than one year. The goal of the pre-course is to aquatint, or reacquaint a student with the facts and theories that a physical therapist or a physical therapy assistant uses to solve clinical problems. This is NOT a stand alone course and is not sold without a seminar.

This course takes about one to three months to complete and ideally should be completed before the seminar. The duration is 120 days from the time you are setup. The course contains textbook materials that you read and eight quizzes that start in the fifth lesson.  It is strongly suggested that you take notes on what you have read in this pre-course as they will help you throughout the seminar which focuses on applying this material and solving clinical problems. You cannot download or paste the PDF files.
